What do I bring with me to a session?

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and eye cover. For private sessions in my space, I have everything you need but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Water and lip balm are nice to have on hand

Be mindful about consuming alcohol or mind altering substances prior to session, as it can dull or limit the experience

Wear comfortable clothes

Bring a journal if you would like, for your personal insights and integration

Try not to eat a big meal 2-3 hours beforehand

All classes are designed to be accessible to everyone from seasoned breathwork practitioners to first-time breathers. Come as you are and trust that the process will hold you where you are.

IS BREATHWORK SAFE WHEN...

Breathwork is for everyone. There are very few reasons that breathwork might not be advisable for you. Because this is a practice that relies solely on your breath and you, there is a lot of control in how you practice. There are ways of adapting the practice for physical comfort that I can work with you on. The most common "what ifs" are below.

I am pregnant?

Yes! Breathwork can be a beautiful way to connect with your baby! I do recommend waiting until you are out of your first trimester out of an abundance of caution.​

I have anxiety?

Yes! Breathwork is an amazing practice to help you work through your anxiety in a way that you have some control over. Because you are choosing to breathe in this way, you also have the power to control that breath, and thus find control of your anxiety.​
